Common Commissioning Steps

This page summarizes common commissioning steps that apply to most HWAMDA injection molding machines.

1. Safety Check

Confirm that the emergency stop, safety door, mold protection, hydraulic pressure protection, servo alarms, and peripheral interlocks work correctly.

2. Mechanical Check

Check lubrication, moving parts, tie bars, platen movement, ejector movement, screw rotation, and mold installation. Make sure no mechanical interference exists.

3. Electrical and Communication Check

Confirm power supply, grounding, I/O signals, servo drive status, temperature modules, pressure sensors, position sensors, and fieldbus communication.

4. Manual Action Test

Run each action at low speed first. Verify actual motion direction, position feedback, limit settings, and alarm response.

5. Process Parameter Setup

Set initial values for temperature, injection speed, injection pressure, holding pressure, cooling time, screw speed, back pressure, mold opening/closing speed, and ejection parameters.

6. Trial Production

Start with manual or semi-automatic mode. After the part is stable, gradually optimize speed, pressure, holding time, cooling time, and cycle time.

7. Record and Backup

After debugging, save the mold data, record key parameters, and back up the final configuration for future maintenance and troubleshooting.
